Message from the InSc President
It is a great pleasure to record that the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad is going to organize the international conference “Circadian Rhythms in Health and Diseases: From Discovery to Function” in conjunction with the Biennial Meeting of the InSC. I congratulate the convenor, Dr. Sandipan Ray, an InSC Executive Committee member, for organizing the present conference on a theme of tremendous importance.
InSC was founded on the 12th of December 1977. It has life members of all ages, including principal investigators and students from both India and abroad. The InSC members have been duly recognized at the national and international forums, for example, with the prestigious Aschoff’s Rule Prize and coveted fellowships of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA). InSC young members have also received young scientist awards from the INSA and other notable recognitions.
Several eminent speakers from abroad have already consented to participate in this conference. I am sure 3-day deliberations in Hyderabad are going to be very exciting, and I am looking forward to it as much as everyone else has to it. As the President of the InSC, I welcome you and genuinely wish you a grand success at the conference.
